Has it been almost 2 months....

since I last blogged???  Let's see, in two months time,  we have started school again.  This time we are using the Classical Method.  We are also attending our local Classical Conversations.  It is a lot more work than we are used to but we are enjoying it.  I have also taken a job with our group as the art and science coordinator.  I guess that is what I get for being a Type A organizational freak.

Also, we are getting ready to celebrate a big birthday around here.  My oldest, M, is getting ready to turn 10.  Would someone please tell me where the time has gone?  Anyone?  I did not think so.  For M's birthday this year she chose to go to Atlanta instead of a birthday party.  We went to the American Girl store and also made plans with this awesome family to go to the aquarium.  Wouldn't you know however that the day of our planned aquarium they had a sick little one and 2 in our group ended up sick?  Not to be discouraged though, we just waited a day and went the next day.  The Georgia Aquarium is awesome.  My kids loved it.  I was sad that the Riches did not get to meet us, but maybe we will get to see them again soon.

Next on the exciting news is that I decided to become a Thirty-One consultant.  You can go here and check it out.  It took me a long time to decide, but so far I have been pleased and I LOVE their products.  If anyone is interested, you can send me a comment here or call the number on the website.  Hopefully, I will do well and feel like I am contributing financially to our family again.  I have not worked outside the home in 10 years.  My husband is awesome in the fact that he works so hard to make it possible for me to be at home, but it is time that we could use the extra income.
